This original drawing of a snail on a leaf was created by Laurene when she was in high school, in Riggins, Idaho during the month of February, 1984. She created it as an assignment for art class using materials available in the art room. The signature Laurene Holland is her maiden name, and thus adds value to the drawing as she has not been signing her drawings under that name since 1991. This is a one-of-a-kind original drawing. There are no prints or reproductions available of this drawing.
There is some damage to the drawing due to improper storage (it was lost in storage for nearly 2 decades along with a collection of her other drawings from the same era). The lower left corner is slightly crumpled, and there are some smudges of unknown origin on the right hand side of the paper. It was created on the white side of black matboard, so it can not be rolled and must be shipped flat. It is being sold unframed. Please contact Laurene for framing preferences. The proceeds of the sale of this artwork will be used to buy her children new mattresses.
